Patient Leader

My husband and I are a unique couple who both have been battling Early Onset Parkinson's (PD) for 22and 18 years respectively. We were diagnosed at the age of 32 years old. Not only dealing with Parkinson's Disease, I have also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Migraines as well. In 2002 we founded Movers & Shakers, a non profit organization for Parkinson's, aimed at creating Outreach, Awareness, Advocacy & empowerment for those with PD & caregivers We are very active on a local, national and global level in the Parkinson's Community We hope to enact change and awareness of PD, fight for better treatments and a cure, and helping others have an easier time than We did on this journey.
