As a 24 year old college student, new mother, and wife receiving the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) was shocking. I had so many thing going on in my life and so many things I had yet to do. But, I decided the best thing to do was to share my journey with others. I thought that if I could share this experience, this journey, I could beat MS. To accomplish this, I decided to record video blogs about my experiences with MS. Through these blogs, I have found a way to connect with others who are on their own MS journeys and also a way to raise awareness about MS in my community through advocating and educating others. I personally know that the journey with MS can be rough at times, but my hope is that my journey will make the bumpy road of a MS diagnosis not so rough and isolated for someone else.
