Melanie Byford-Young

Patient Leader

Knowledge is power, and my mission is to empower physical therapists and movement experts to understand the art and science of helping clients get better through movement. People in pain and with physical challenges need a team of committed, creative and compassionate professionals to help them regain control and get back to 'life'. Our clients entrust their bodies and lives to us, which is a huge responsibility and honor. I take great joy in teaching therapists and instructors how to work with their clients based on the integration of biomechanics, movement analysis and creative clinical reasoning. Professionals need to be inspired and nourished so that they can give. This is my mission.
