Heidi Floyd

Patient Leader

Having lost my mother to breast cancer during college, I suspected cancer would be part of my future as well. I never expected that it would come during pregnancy while in my 30's. A community for fellow mommies with cancer didn't exist, leaving me feeling utterly alone and not understood. Since my first diagnosis, it has been an honor to help create these communites, both in person and via social media. A second diagnosis and ongoing treatment has simply added more fuel to the fire of compassion, increasing my desire to help whenever/wherever needed. It is a privilidge to be a keynote speaker, an author and and advocate worldwide. Twitter: @followheidi Instagram/Facebook: Heidi Floyd

Heroes come in many forms. A young ball player looks to those who left a mark on the game. A soldier is inspired by stories of valor from other warriors. Newly diagnosed breast cancer patients look to people like Heidi Floyd who pour their very lives into comforting those about to endure the same difficult battle. That's a true hero to me.  — Andy

Heidi spends every day supporting and caring for others going through Breast cancer because of her first hand experience as a breast cancer patient. This is her passion and mission in life.  — K
