Over the past 7 years I've learned that while Lyme Disease may be infectious, so is optimism, and we all need a little optimism in order to get by. Autoimmune and neuroimmune illness is complicated and undoubtedly challenging. But with commitment, courage, patience and a holistic mentality, I believe that it is possible to heal. I believe that in order to achieve wellness and maintain health, it's necessary to revisit the basics and get down to earth. I believe in natural healing modalities, and that food can be medicine. I find hope in every bite. So, I'm inviting you to join me in a quest for health as I trade in PB&J sandwiches for almond butter and celery, swap out perfume and hair mousse for argan and olive oil, and replace pharmaceuticals with supplements, potions and remedies. Every lifestyle change made is a step toward wellness. And just in case you haven't heard, being a Late Stage Lyme patient automatically makes you a badass.
