HIV was a topic I wore a red ribbon -- a cause, until I learned on 1.24.12 that the first person I would know that was positive, was me. I felt alone, so I launched an encouragement blog for those living with HIV, and utilize a strong social media integration and administration to connect to other newly diagnosed, learn from the wisdom of long term survivors, share my journey with others, and fight stigma through directly confronting it by means of knowledge, wise counsel, and a strong personified character that my closest friends get to see make a fool of himself-- but be accepted by a wide range and audience. Josh is one of the most high energy activists I've met. He is constantly out there spreading awareness interacting with the community etc. I recently attended a class he taught on using video in awareness. It was full of awesome tips tricks, and humor.
