Keeping my faith is a blog about the past 6.5 years since diagnosis of stage 4 non small cell lung cancer adenocarcinoma with a positive EGFR mutation. It’s not all rainbows and butterflies, it’s real. It is the roller coaster we call lung cancer. Although I do cut up, it’s my way of coping and helping others. My blog includes plenty of information on how cancer, especially lung cancer patients, want to be treated. Remember, these are my thoughts and feelings and you don’t have to agree with them. I’m here for you. You will see my daughter grow with me in this journey, learning how to cope being a single mom and navigating this emotional roller coaster. I hope to bring the hope that I so desperately needed in the beginning. My cancer just returned so I’m going through radiation so maybe we can continue on the same treatment. I owe all of my time here to God and am so blessed I have my family and friends by my side. I love leaving photos in each blog to show our adventures and achievements along this road. God bless you.

Ok. I’m nominating myself for this because I make myself laugh. And laughter is the best medicine. Yes. There are some funny people out there buy how many are this vain! 😂 — Samantha
