Krissy (Fibro Warriors)

Patient Leader

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia while in High School. While having a diagnosis brought some consolation, I was ill prepared for how this disease would change my life. I’ve learned that life doesn’t end with this disease it’s altered. It’s important that you remember this. We are warriors! We get tired, frustrated and downright pissed off but we do not surrender to Fibromyalgia. Fibro has taught me how to persevere against all kinds of adversity. I continue to live through the pain and look for ways to inspire others to do the same.
