Seventeen years ago, when I turned to the Internet for help with chronic Migraine, I had no idea how much my life would change. What started out as a search for information for myself turned into an ongoing passion for working and advocating for all of us who have Migraine disease or another headache disorder. Migraines have plagued me for more than 50 years. Now I find that working toward better treatments and a higher quality of life for all of us helps me maintain perspective and cope better with my own health issues. It's an honor to stand with and for others with whom I share this disease. With hope, we will prevail.
Teri has been a tireless advocate for people dealing with Migraine dissease for many years now and she goes out of her way to help others who suffer from this condition inspite of suffering from it herself. She serves on several national migraine related boards, manages support groups, writes a newletter and probably more all in support of advocating for people suffering from this incurable disorder. She well deserves to be considered for this award. She has been active in the field of advocasy for well over 10 years and hasn't wavered in her commitment to those suffering. She is truly one of the angels who give their all to help who she can when she can. — Barbara
