I write (and draw) about Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome (MALS), and disability, to name a few. I try to inject some humor into everything I do, because even though life with a chronic illness is no laughing matter, I believe it's important to laugh anyway--sometimes about the very things that bring us pain. Along with raising awareness and educating the general public, I really hope that my work helps people smile. I'm chronically ill--and that's hard--but there's so much joy in my life, and I want people to find the joy in their lives, too. Here's to hoping that doesn't sound too cheesy... When I'm not drawing comics, you can find me drinking far too much tea, dreaming about space, and talking to my dogs as if they can talk back.
