Stacey Turis is an advocate of Neurodiversity, the author of the wildly-popular, best-selling memoir, 'Here's to Not Catching Our Hair on Fire: An Absent-Minded Tale of Life with Giftedness and Attention Deficit - Oh Look! A Chicken!', and co-host and co-producer of the always-entertaining Brain Gangster Podcast; with entertainment and wellness content focused on mindful Lifestyle Techniques to boost brain health, naturally. Before the success of her best-selling book, Stacey started a Facebook page; @adhdsuperhero, for wacky folks like herself; which has exploded, and with the endless time and commitment of some absolutely incredible, compassionate and hard-working admins led to the creation of a private on-line ADHD support group that currently boasts almost 10,000 members. Stacey has been educating the world about everything MINDful, including; the beauty of neurodiversity, neurology, mental training for athletes, body, soul, food, meditation, Yoga, positive psychology, natural therapies and BRAINSSS for over a decade. In 2013, Stacey was named one of top 10 ADHD Bloggers by Sharecare, a one-of-a-kind online health and wellness community founded by Jeff Arnold and Dr. Mehmet Oz that helps people engage with the most qualified resources. She has completed 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training, is a Reiki Master, a meditation teacher and was STOKED to get invited to the Googleplex to do a "Google Tech Talk" on Neurodiversity. Stacey lives in Seal Beach, California with her husband, two kids, a dog, three cats, and a Guinea Pig. Stacey now spends her time teaching Meditation + Mindful Lifestyle Techniques to those looking to add more quality to their life. She also spends time speaking to groups of wacky people like herself, where she's not afraid to stop in the middle of a speech and ask "Wait...what was I just talking about?".
