Melissa Talwar (Support Fibromyalgia)

Patient Leader

Melissa is ready to bring positive healthcare experiences to the Fibromyalgia community! Her chronic pain journey began at the age of 14 and after a long 24 year journey of decline and a laundry list of diagnoses, she took her health into her own hands. Through biohacking and patient empowered motivation she has given herself a break in decline and focused her energy on building the International Support Fibromyalgia Network. #SupportFibro believes in collaboration. It is open, participatory and dedicated to educating, informing and inspiring the fibromyalgia community. Melissa is also a Certified Wahls Protocol® Health Professional, Reversing Cognitive Decline trained from IFM, FMCA and Dr. Bredesen and is a Certified Functional Medicine Coach. She started advocating in the early 2000's and was part of the first Fibromyalgia group in Sacramento for the very first Fibromyalgia Proclamation. That day ignited a passion to pursue advocacy work and find better answers for the Fibromyalgia community.
