While medical issues can be incredibly difficult, I believe they are also an invitation into a deeper, richer, more conscious relationship with ourselves. I'm a psychotherapist with Multiple Sclerosis living in San Francisco, and I created the podcast "This Is Not What I Ordered" to highlight the depth of insight held by people with chronic illness and health challenges. Each week, I talk to a new guest to find out what wisdom they hold as a result of their health challenges. We laugh together and think out loud about how we make meaning of what's going on with our bodies, what questions we're living with, and what it means to live a truly fulfilling life.
