Khevin Barnes : Male Breast Cancer Playwright and Survivor

Patient Leader

Male Breast Cancer is a rare "Orphan Disease" affecting just 2,500 guy's each year in the U.S. Diagnosed in May, 2014, I made decision to write my second full-length production of Musical Theater to bring Male Breast Cancer into mainstream conversation. 'SONS OF SAINT AGATHA" (named after the Patron Saint of breast cancer) required 18 months of writing and studio work. Generous crowdfunding allow a team of professional singers to record my songs. The show has 13 musical numbers, five lead actors and was designed for a national tour. I'm proud to contribute this show to men and women with breast cancer in their lives. I believe this award is deserved by the SHOW and not its author.
