Triage Cancer

Patient Leader

Triage Cancer is a national, nonprofit organization that provides education on the practical and legal issues that may impact individuals diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers, through events, materials, and resources. Cancer care is expensive and those costs pose a serious challenge to those diagnosed with cancer and their families. Educating people about their rights and options under the law (e.g., access to reasonable accommodations, paid leave options, disability insurance benefits, health insurance options, health insurance appeals, etc.) may assist in mitigating financial toxicity. Ultimately, Triage Cancer helps people move beyond diagnosis.
