I have lived experience with mental health all my life; father had undiagnosed manic depression and prescription medication addiction, after witnessing violent domestic abuse, my brother, mother and I now live with PTSD and depression. My husband lives with clinical depression, OCD, GAD. I have taken my own coping skills and became a mental health advocate in 2014. To aide in helping others, I write blog articles based on what I experienced and how I coped. I've also volunteered and worked with various mental health organizations in Canada and the United States. My only goal is to let people know they're not alone and it does get better.
