Best Team Performance

The International Foundation for Autoimmune Arthritis is a non-profit run by patients suffering from autoimmune arthritis diseases, and we all work together in a community that is like a family.  — Tamara

The Leadership & Volunteers of IFAA work together as a United Team utilizing the best talents, gifts and skills of each individual. Our team performance reaches a very high level on a consistent basis due to the pooling together of some of the most intelligent, creative, passionate, loyal and invested people involved. It's our cause! It's our life!  — Autoimmune

I am nominating IFAA because I am apart of that great team all of which have forms of Autoimmune Arthritis Diseases wanting to make a difference.  — Judith

IFAA may have 3 Co-Founders (one of whom is the CEO), but we truly work as a family unit with our volunteers to get the job done. We have many programs and events we manage throughout each year (World Autoimmune Arthritis Day, Early Symptoms Research Study, Media Awareness Hotline, etc.), and these wouldn't happen without volunteers' involvement!  — Tamara

This non-profit organization is run solely by patients who have been diagnosed with an Autoimmune Arthritis disease(s). They are dedicated and determined to fight the never-ending battle promoting true awareness, education, & patient-centered research in hopes of improving the lives for all who suffer these chronic, debilitating diseases.

I chose IFAA for best Team Performance because they all work well together all over the world and from their sofa. They make living with Autoimmune Arthritis easier and make it so everyone can make a difference.  — Judith

The founders, staff & volunteers work together to make their mark on the world, raising awareness, focusing on patient needs, and speaking up on behalf of patients everywhere. Not only do they work together on their own, but they join with other organizations around the world to continue their mission, and unite to make the patient voice louder.  — Kerry

Not only are all IFAA's projects run by patient teams, they enlist other orgs, advocates, & experts on EVERY project- this is their "global network" philosophy. They also host World Autoimmune Arthritis Day annually, working with over 4 dozen community leaders & nonprofit groups.  — Tiffany

The International Foundation for Autoimmune Arthritis is built on teamwork. It is an organization comprised of patients working to help patients, from Founders down to Volunteers. Everyone has a say in all the programs that are put into action, and volunteers are welcomed to participate as they are put into action. IFAA is a family!  — Tamara

The IFAA is comprised of well trained volunteers under the leadership of Ms Westrich -Robertson. The team is comprised of patients who desire to make a difference by educating and empowering those who suffer from autoimmune diseases. Projects include legislation, research, education, support, and World Autoimmune Arthritis Day.  — Janice
