Little Boxes of Sunshine

Patient Leader

Little Boxes of Sunshine is a organization that sends craft boxes to children and teens (ages 0-18) who are fighting chronic and life threatening illnesses. Each box includes all the necessary materials needed to make the craft, instructions on how to create it, and a handwritten postivity note to the person receiving the box. The craft is suited to the person's age and all the materials come in a reusable plastic container making it easy for storing and transport. The craft is a fun and relaxing thing to do while recovering from a surgery, receiving treatment, or resting. Recipients have told us that the craft brightens up both their day and their room!
