I am the Founder and Director of a small type 1 diabetes advocacy non-profit in the UK called T1International. I was born in the United States and have lived with type 1 diabetes for 25 years. I moved to London in 2011 to complete a Master’s degree in International Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science and have donated my time, energy and passion to improving access to essential insulin and diabetes supplies ever since. I believe that where you were born should not determine whether you live or die with diabetes, and I am confident that by working together we can find solutions to the complex problems faced by people with diabetes.
