I'm a single mom of 3 that works as a marketing assistant and romance novelist. I enjoy attending events all over the U.S., where I do media coverage as a freelance writer. I found my purpose as a patient advocate after being diagnosed with chronic migraine so debilitating I was unable to drive for several years. This ultimately led to me losing my job, which is why advocacy took on an even more significant role in my life. I also live with clusterheadaches, heart disease, fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis and care for a teen living with chronic migraine. Despite all that has happened in the course of my chronic illness journey, I find myself more determined to live life to the fullest. It's essential to focus on the small victories and not let the tasks I'm unable to do not get the best of me.
