Patient Leader

My name is Laura. I have Crohn's disease. I have an ostomy. I love to travel. My sense of humour and positive outlook have helped me through some pretty crappy times, but I also keep it real! I'm a passionate advocate, hoping to spread awareness and understanding of IBD, and empower others living life and travelling the world with an ostomy, one adventure at a time! My blog Stoma-licious is all about living a beautiful, confident, stoma-ful life. I hope to reduce the stigmas often associated with ostomies and stop poo being taboo! For anyone with IBD facing surgery, know that you are not alone, and that you can still live a full and fabulous life with a stoma <3
