Donna L. Marsh

Patient Leader

Donna's pain journey began after a bicycle accident more than 40 years ago, but disability hasn't slowed her down. While she has both Fibromyalgia and Lupus, as well as several other illnesses that aren't visible, she refuses to be invisible. She created and oversees Fibro Friends, a coalition devoted to Advocacy, Education and Support. Between the online and offline support groups, she serves more than 1,000 others who live with chronic pain. Donna works to educate both the public and the medical community about life with pain while advocating for pain patient rights at both the state and national levels as a Leader Against Pain with the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association.
