He survived a life changing automobile accident, is an eleven year cancer survivor, and currently lives with Parkinson’s disease. In July 2013 he set a goal to touch the lives of 100,000 people with Parkinson’s in three years. He has already achieved that goal. Richard recently started a non-profit organization, the Parkinson Community Coalition, to provide a unified voice from the grass roots level to the six major national Parkinson’s organizations.
