Laia Ruiz Mingote is an advocate and activist in global health, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, R&D and community engagement. Journalist by training, Laia Ruiz Mingote has developed all her professional career in the human rights field. She serves as advisor in different groups, serving as a link between affected communities and researchers, sponsors and funders. Currently, she is part of the Community Research Advisors Group (CRAG) of the Tuberculosis Trials Consortium and is part of the Board of Directors of the Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease.
